Dining with the Sultan: Taste and Sound
part of the on going exhibit at LACMA, I'll be presenting an evening of improvisation based pieces for electronically enhanced voice and specially tuned keyboard. These will combine the modes of Arabic classical music in conversation with Western inspired harmonies and forms. and will coincide with the fast-breaking meal after sunset during the month of Ramadan.

Our annual weeklong celebration of the voice. Applications are still open for those who want to experience the full week of workshops. We will also have a series of concerts and workshops open to the general public, this year featuring Carmina Escobar as guest artist!
